I want to become a new member, but I missed the ice cream social. How do I join? What if I am not sure if I want to join? What benefits do I get from joining and paying my dues?
1. I want to become a new member, but I missed the ice cream social. How do I join?
Come a little early to a General Meeting which is the second Monday of each month at 7pm. Click here to check our meeting schedule. At each meeting, there will be a MEMBERSHIP WELCOMING table. We will greet you and answer any questions you have. You can print off a Membership Form prior to coming or fill one out at the meeting. Dues of $20 need to accompany the form. We will pair you up with another member to answer any questions and show you around. If you need it to be a little easier, you may send in your membership form to the address listed on the form. Checks are to be made out to ALECPTA.
2. What if I am not sure if I want to join?
You may come and check out a meeting and see what we are all about. Bring your questions and we can help ease any of your concerns. You need to check in at the MEMBERSHIP WELCOMING table and let us know you are thinking about joining. We will pair you up with someone who can answer your questions and show you around. Keep in mind, in order to participate in any of our events, parties, outings, or any additional meetings, you will need to complete a membership form and turn in your dues.
3. What benefits do I get from joining and paying my dues?

Click here for a list. · Group discounts at events or outings that group participates in, e.g. The Circus, Playhouse Square shows, Memphis Kiddie Park, etc. · Early sign up for Kids Closet · Monthly sign ups for childrens outings at low cost · Enjoy speakers to help make life a little easier · Many chances to win door prizes at our monthly meetings (usually gift cards to local places) · Website access to our monthly newsletter · Time for just moms · New friends · Munchies at our meetings · Plus many more ways to get involved volunteering for our group and helping our community · What more can you ask for?
